We are often asked what the difference is between a virtual tour and 3D scanning (when they both involve scanning the environment)...and the answer is that they're very similar in that we capture 3D depth information along with high resolution 2D imagery. However, it’s how we process and utilize the scan data that creates the difference. We have the ability to breakout the captured data and provide customers with a file package containing:

• 3D Models in .OBJ format
• High Res Floor Plan Image
• Reflected Ceiling Plan Image
• Colorized xyz point cloud file for use in industry standard CAD & 3D software packages
